Event Details

When Microsoft acquired Sybari in 2005, many of us wondered what would become of the Sybari product lines and how they would be integrated into Microsoft's overall security strategy. Now, in just a little over a year, we have Microsoft Forefront. The Microsoft Forefront comprehensive line of business security products provides greater protection and control through integration with your existing IT infrastructure and through simplified deployment, management, and analysis. Forefront is a comprehensive solution that helps provide protection for the client operating system, application servers, and the network edge. January's meeting will focus on Microsoft Forefront security solutions. Join us on Thursday, January 18, 2007 when we hear from Kelly Housman from Microsoft Corporation. Kelly works as a Security Technical Specialist in the Midwest District and will be presenting information about the Forefront Security Suite. The Forefront Security Suite is a comprehensive line of business security products from Microsoft that provide simplified deployment, management and analysis of Security Data within the Enterprise. The Forefront Suite represents Client, Server and Edge Security Services for the Windows Platform.
